Eliza Gilkyson & Don Richmond

Eliza Gilkyson is the real deal. Her story is woven into the fabric of American Folk. She is two-time Grammy-nominated folksinger, inductee into the Austin Music Hall of Fame, the Austin Songwriter Hall of Fame, and winner of countless Folk Alliance and Austin Music Awards, including Song of the Year at the Folk Alliance international Convention in 2021 for “Peace in Our Hearts”. Gilkyson has written songs that have been covered by Joan Baez, Tom Rush, Rosanne Cash and others.

Eliza Gilkyson is known for her intimate, insightful and spontaneous live performances, with songs ranging from the spiritual to the practical, from the mundane to the profound, in a soulful evening of music where heart, intellect, humor and craft all come into play.

Eliza has a reputation for bringing world class musicians with her on tour; her Salida show will include Don Richmond, who has produced and played with her on her last two records. Don will be accompanying her on a variety of instruments, creating colors and musical textures that enhance every song.
