About the event
Ceci is a bilingual singer-songwriter visiting from Montana who blends indie folk with elements of Colombian contemporary folk. She has three EPs, and recently released a new single, "Dime". Her performances are intimate and participatory, often encouraging audiences to join in.
A dedicated music educator and facilitator of nine years, Ceci centers her work on the belief that song is a space of belonging — a way for people to encounter themselves and each other.
Nora, a new local to Salida, has been a singer/songwriter since she was 18 years old, when she started taking her music to basements & living rooms & stages across the US and Canada. Her most recent LP called What It Takes To Be A Man carves a space for reflecting on the impacts of toxic masculinity in our society and in ourselves.
Live, Nora is known for opening up an emotionally introspective space, encouraging audience members…
